Blowfish (King St.)

Blowfish is a Japanese fusion restaurant & sake bar.

The scene is vibrant and lively at night. Blowfish is a great spot for business and social gatherings. The girls and I came out to celebrate Cat's birthday.

Hot Oil Hamachi: Seared yellowtail with ponzu sauce, on top of sesame and olive oil.
Spicy Tuna with Rock Shrimp Makimono: Spicy tuna paste, black sesame seeds, hot garlic kewpie and tossed rock shrimp tempura.

One-Bite Salmon Tartare: Salmon tartar topped with daikon sprout and a thin slice of lemon.
Truffle Albacore Makimono: Albacore tuna paste, tiger shrimp and avocado topped with a garlic chip & drizzled in truffle oil.

Blowfish is a great place to come out and socialize with friends. Although it is on the pricier side for sushi, the flavour and ingredient combinations, as well as the presentation, is brilliant. Blowfish is a place that you have to experience once.
